Climb aboard vintage trains from the 1900’s or see a giant steam crane that hauled derailed locomotives back on track!
The Central British Columbia Railway & Forestry Museum celebrates the industries that built our communities with acres of artifacts, including more than 70 pieces of rolling stock, nine historical buildings and a working miniature railway. Steam and electric locomotives, massive wooden snowplows, box cars, baggage cars and cabooses are all on display. A highlight is the Nechako Coach, decorated in the official colours of the historic Grand Trunk Pacific Railway.
For family fun, watch for special events like the Celebration of Lights when the museum is a hive of activity for young and old.
