Mackenzie and District Museum
The Mackenzie Museum features the stories of exceptional people, past and present, who represent the area's spirit. Check out the LeTourneau Tree Crusher - the largest of its kind in the world - located just across the street.

Whistlestop Gallery
The Whistlestop Gallery features the work of over 100 artists living within the Robson Valley. The Galley is located in McBride's heritage train station, originally built in 1919.

Valley Museum and Archives
The Valley Museum boasts and extensive collection of area artifacts from the Robson Valley's olden days. Get up close and personal with (taxidermized) wildlife that you can find around the area!

Valemount and Area Musuem
The Valemount Museum is located in the town's old railway station, which was in use from 1914 - 1981. Exhibits document daily life and working conditions from the past, including ranching, outfitting, trapping and logging.

Barkerville
BC's Gold Rush Town, Barkerville, is the largest living museum in Western Canada. Take a day, or a weekend, to explore 125 heritage buildings restored to the gold rush era. Pan for gold, ride a horse-drawn carriage, and see a show at the town theatre!

Fort St. James National Historic Site
Step back in time to the fur trade! Negotiate with interpreters to get the most out of your skunk pelts, bet on 'world class chicken races,' and pet the goats. Through the 1800s, Fort St. James was the center of the fur trade in Northern BC.
