Valemount Museum

Valemount Museum

The Valemount Museum sits in the shadow of Mount Robson, the tallest peak in the Canadian Rockies. Housed in the community’s historic railway station dating back to 1914, the museum tells the story of the people and events that shaped this scenic mountain village. From a replica trapper’s cabin to Margaret McKirdy’s sculptures of local pioneers, a wide variety of artifacts are on display. There is also a model railway that runs through the communities of Lucerne, Tete Jaune, Red Pass and Swift Creek – a highlight for visitors of any age.
