Summer is coming to an end, and so are some of the Northern Routes' locations' operating seasons.
The following sites will be reducing their hours or outright closing in the coming month:
Fort St. James National Historic Site
Closed - September 9. Self-guided walks are available year round, interpretive tours available by appointment.
Barkerville
Closed - September 13. Cottage rentals and self-guided tours are available in the off-season, and Barkerville re-opens December 12-13 for its annual Olde-Fashioned Christmas.
Huble Homestead
Weekends only after September 8, then fully closed after Halloween. They are still hosting weekend events in that time!
Valemount Museum
Closed - September 21 until May.
