Northern Routes locations are hosting a variety of holiday markets and activities, and you and your family are invited!
Here are a couple of major events upcoming in the next few weeks:
Whimsy & Wonder Holiday Market
Head to Two Rivers Gallery November 28 (5:30pm – 8:00pm) and 29 (10:00am – 5:00pm) for one of Prince George’s largest annual holiday markets.
Celebrate in a warm, joyful atmosphere filled with holiday music, a raffle featuring works made by our spectacular artisans, a cozy café with warm drinks and sweet treats from The Open Door Cafe, and a magical Candy Cane Lane Craft Corner for kids.
This year’s market also aligns with the City Of Prince George’s annual Civic Light Up, which takes place in Canada Games Plaza right outside the gallery on Friday night.
Barkerville’s Olde Fashioned Christmas
Celebrate Christmas the pioneer way at Barkerville!
Start the day with a traditional drum circle and a guided tour, go Christmas caroling, visit some of Barkerville’s famous shops, and take a sleigh ride through the town in the snow.
The event runs from 9:30am-5:00pm on December 13 and 14. It costs $12 to attend (or $10 for seniors).
Celebration of Lights
It’s the biggest light show in Northern BC!
The Festival of Lights begins December 18 and runs until December 30 (with a Christmas break from December 24-26).
Hot Chocolate, BBQ and snacks available for purchase every night.
