Summer is coming to an end, and some Northern Routes locations' operating hours are changing:
Fort St. James National Historic Site
The site's main operating season ends on September 9. Self-guided walks are still available year round and you can book interpretive tours by appointment.
Barkerville Historic Town and Park
Closed - September 13. Cottage rentals and self-guided tours are available in the off-season, and Barkerville re-opens December 12 and 13 for its annual Olde-Fashioned Christmas.
Huble Homestead
Weekends only after September 8, then fully closed after Halloween. They are still hosting weekend events in that time!
Valemount Museum
The museum is closing on September 21 and will reopen until May 2027 for the summer season.
If you have not visited these four locations this year, time is running out! Make sure to get your Northern Routes passport brochure stamped or to take a photo of yourself there to enter into our end of season prize draw.
